High volume (100cc is huge for a mini pump) aluminum pump that is dead simple to use. Won’t unscrew your valve core! People with more time on their hands than us have done head to head tests with this pump and other popular mini pumps like the Topeak Math Blaster, (1200 points if you played that as a kid), the Lezyne Ultra Power Max Drive and the Crank Brothers Germ. Nut shell, the One Up pump moves the most air per stroke. It’s all about the air, folks. Gotta move that air. That’s why 12” paper speakers will always win against 6” plastic speakers. They move more air.
Aluminum construction means that as you pump to higher pressures, the pump itself acts as a heat sink, warming up so the pump doesn’t swell and jam up. Plastic pumps jam. They also break. The One Up pump isn’t the lightest, but for big tubeless tires, it’s the pump you want.
